Buying direct matters — tivitron.com is the only address we trade from. Anything else selling under our name is a copycat.

Questions, answered properly

Fifteen things people ask before they order, with real answers rather than a sales pitch dressed up as an FAQ.

If the answer you need is not below, message the London support desk and it will be. We add to this page whenever a question turns up three times in a week.

What broadband speed does Tivitron need?

Sixteen megabits per second is our floor for reliable HD. For 4K on a large panel we would want twenty-five or more. Consistency beats headline speed every time: a steady 20 Mbps fibre line outperforms a 200 Mbps connection that collapses whenever the household gets busy. If you can stream catch-up television without trouble today, you are almost certainly fine.

Should I use Wi-Fi or a cable?

A cable, if you can manage it. Wi-Fi works perfectly well in most homes, but the complaints we receive about stuttering trace back to wireless roughly nine times in ten — usually a router three rooms and two brick walls away. An ethernet run or a decent powerline adapter fixes more picture problems than any setting inside the app.

Which payment methods do you take?

Card and PayPal, both through an encrypted processor. Tivitron never holds a card number. Once the payment clears, an automated email sends your portal address, username, password, M3U link and XMLTV guide URL. Typical delivery is under seven minutes, and the junk folder is where the missing ones nearly always turn up.

How soon does the subscription go live?

The moment the credentials reach you. Provisioning is automatic rather than queued behind a human, so there is no waiting for office hours. Orders placed at three in the morning activate at three in the morning.

Which application do I install?

IBO Player, and nothing else. We deliberately certify a single app so that our support team knows every menu and every quirk inside it. The installation walkthrough covers phones, tablets, computers, streaming sticks and televisions.

How many devices can watch at once?

One. A Tivitron subscription authorises a single device at a time, which is how we keep the line quick and the price where it is. Households wanting a second screen take a second subscription — tell us when you order and we will align the expiry dates so both renew together.

Can I move my subscription to a different device?

Yes. Re-register the new device on the IBO portal using its MAC address and device key, and the playlist follows you across. There is no charge and no waiting period. What you cannot do is run both devices simultaneously.

Does Tivitron record programmes?

No. IBO Player has no recording function, so neither do we. Anyone who needs a DVR is better served by a service built around one, and we would rather say so than take the money and disappoint.

Is there a contract or an automatic renewal?

Neither. Plans run for the length you bought and then stop. Nothing is taken from a card afterwards. When you want to carry on, you place another order — most people set a phone reminder a few days before the end date.

What happens if a channel goes down mid-match?

Our monitoring usually catches it before the messages arrive, and the load balancer will move you to a healthy route automatically. If a specific feed is genuinely broken, message support with the channel name and we will either repoint it or give you the alternative feed carrying the same fixture.

Do you carry Premier League and EFL fixtures?

Yes, across domestic and overseas feeds, including matches that are not shown on British screens. Rugby, cricket, Formula 1, golf, snooker and darts are all in the same sport groups. The full breakdown sits on the channel list.

Why are some international channels missing guide data?

Because the broadcaster does not publish an EPG feed we can ingest. The main UK groups run fourteen days ahead and refresh nightly; smaller community channels sometimes show nothing but the channel name. We chase the ones we can and are honest about the ones we cannot.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Access is instant and cannot be handed back, so the refund policy is narrow: verified outages beyond seventy-two hours and duplicate charges. That is precisely why the £6.99 introductory month exists — it lets you test the service properly for the price of a sandwich.

Do you offer trade pricing?

We do. The reseller programme sells in credits, with a management panel for creating and renewing lines under your own branding. It suits shops, engineers and anyone supplying more than a handful of households.

How do I reach a human being?

WhatsApp using the button in the corner of any page, or email the London team at [email protected]. Someone is on the queue at every hour, including Saturday afternoons and bank holidays. Other routes are listed on the contact page.

Still weighing it up?

The cheapest way to settle any remaining doubt is to run the service for a month at the intro price and judge it on your own broadband, with your own telly, during your own fixtures.
